- full-time
Responsibility
- forward planning of all scheduled PMI/MOT’s
- to sign the declaration of roadworthiness on the PMI Sheet confirming vehicle is roadworthy
- to identify patterns of wear
- to maintain accurate maintenance records of all activities to DVSA standard and retain for correct periods of time
- to monitor Driver Defect Reporting system and ensure any defects identified are rectified and records kept on vehicle files
- full driver management
- collection and downloading of driver tachographs and to ensure data is submitted for analysis regularly
- to ensure all rectification work identified on PMI sheets has been completed and signed off by in house mechanics or maintenance contractors
Requirements
- two years compliance experience ideally within the fleet transport industry
- detailed knowledge of DVSA regulatory requirements regarding Operator Licences and fleet management activities in general
- attention to detail and ability to prioritise own workload to meet the demands of a fast-paced working environment
- holder of Transport Manager’s CPC Certification
- holder of current PCV Licence, CPC Card and Digi Card
