- load shipping containers with a variety of goods by forklift truck, ensuring maximum efficiency both in terms of time and space whilst making sure that goods are adequately secured and damages during transit are prevented
- maintain accurate records through regular stock checks. Assist with maintaining computerised and paper records. Report any discrepancies
- store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse. · Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or by Forklift or other equipment
- load correct goods onto trucks for onward transport, liaising with others or referring to paperwork to ensure loading requirements are met
- keep the warehouse and loading area clean, safe and tidy reporting any damage to warehouse structure immediately. Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills, obstructions or other hazards
