Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- safely operate and maintain company-provided HGV vehicles
- load, transport, and unload goods in compliance with industry best practices
- plan routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries
- complete necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately, including delivery tickets
- look for opportunities to deliver efficiency in driving performance by reducing fuel consumption
- perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- communicate effectively with the Transport Manager and other teams
- adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- valid HGV licence, including articulated lorries
- proven experience as an HGV driver, with a clean driving record
- ability to manage night shifts and nights out
- strong adherence to safety protocols
- excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities
- attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in paperwork
- ability to load and unload goods when required
- flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules
