Responsibility
- read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- learn how to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements
- operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, such as press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading machines
- learn how to operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, including press brake machines, plasma cutters, and pipe threading machines
- fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications
- learn how to fabricate and assemble metal components using welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and soldering
- weld metal parts using various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding
- begin to perform machining tasks to shape and finish metal parts
Requirements
- proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role
- must be hardworking and dedicated to learning
- proficient in machining, press brake operation, rigging, and assembly techniques
- strong interest in mechanical work and understanding of fabrication processes
- strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
- ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- familiarity with machining tools and techniques would be an advantage
- skilled in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding
