Responsibility
- setting and operating of CNC machines
- monitoring of OEE data including FourJaw
- working to close tolerances on a variety of materials to engineering drawings
- directly involved in continuous improvement programs and quality control
Requirements
- setting of CNC machines
- minimum 3 years’ experience in setting and operating CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools
- experience of operating CNC machines
- ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process
- must be self-motivated, shows initiative, has the ability to problem solve and work alone
- A sound working knowledge and understanding of machine tooling and proper tool usage is essential
- basic knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls
- good attention to detail
