Responsibility
- this includes offering opportunities for them to access voluntary work, work experience alongside social and leisure activities
- this is an exciting new role for an experienced Supported Living Manager/ Service Centre Manage r, with at least 2 years’ experience in a managerial capacity
- you will be the advocate to the people and families to create and promote independent living and skills set for life
- you will be able to step up and take the lead role, set up new services and manage new projects & staff
- you will be responsible for ensuring that the services operate within CQC guidelines, as well as the company’s own policies and procedures
- it is essential that you are an experienced supported living service manager having exposure to working in different settings including – learning disabilities, mental health, autism and complex needs
- this is an exciting new opportunity to provide support to all age adults with learning and physical disabilities inbuilding a service to offer access to local community facilities
- the service also focuses to support any young adults, school leavers and residential college break students to have a safe place to learn vocational skills and daily living skills
Requirements
- proven experience of working with people with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health problems
- demonstrable success in building an effective team with an ability to motivate staff to succeed
- care management: 2 years
- support Work: 3 years
- leadership: 1 year
