Responsibility
- together with the team maintains the quality and availability of the simulator in line with CAA UK and EASA standards
- liaises with the customer before and after training sessions and ensures logs are completed
- runs QTG tests according to the declared schedules
- first point of customer contact. Maintains the proper look and feel of the building
- repairs faults or liaises with Service Management to start follow-up service for the replacement of faulty components. Reacts quickly and decisively to restore failed equipment to minimize downtime and lost training
- responsible for maintaining the on-site spare part stock and aligning with Service Management and Engineering for updates on spare part stock and system upgrades or improvements
Requirements
- background in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- hands-on experience in a similar role
- knowledge of aircraft, specifically the Airbus A320-family
- previous experience in flight training
