Responsibility
- being responsible for the development of primarily embedded software and ideally also highly scalable web-based software solutions
- writing well-designed, testable code, able to integrate software components into larger fully functional systems
- troubleshooting, debugging and upgrading existing software components
- supporting the peer review and test of other developers’ work according to company coding standards and industry best practices
- reviewing and evaluating system compliance to necessary industry standard specifications
- helping to estimate work packages and to ensure work is completed on time and to an acceptable level of quality
Requirements
- excellent knowledge of the Linux operating system and its utilities, with experience in Linux kernel customisation and the buildroot system
- experience in Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA and Confluence software development toolsets
- software engineering: 2 years
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field; with proven work experience as a Software Engineer, having particular focus on the design and development of embedded software systems
- knowledge of the following software development languages and frameworks: C/C++, Qt, Qt Markup Language , Extensible Markup Language , Perl
