must hold full driving license that is valid to drive in the UK
you must have 2 years previous experience as an area manager in the cleaning industry
be flexible and open to some cleaning and occasional weekend working if required

Responsibility

avalon Cleaning Systems are seeking a small contracts area manager to join our growing team. We are based in Leighton Buzzard and have been servicing the home counties for 45 years and counting
monitor stock levels and order supplies and equipment for sites. Deliver cleaning materials where required
audit cleaning cupboards. Ensure all sites have the required health and safety documentation and policies
managing cleaning staff, including timesheets on a weekly basis and monitoring/ organising cover for staff sickness and holidays
following and implementing all company polices and procedures
recruitment and basic HR issues
site and Customer Visits on a monthly basis, Audit the premises, check the cleaning is to a high standard, whilst ensuring feedback is provided to senior management and re-training staff where necessary
organising mobile staff to cover the workload in your area and prevent missed services from occurring
