planner
Responsibility
- maintain inventory policies at manufacturing sites and third party warehouses in conjunction with planning, manufacturing operations and commercial teams
- including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities and projects

- the Buyer Planner will be responsible for generating stock requirements from demand and issuing purchase orders to suppliers to assure sufficient raw material stock for uninterrupted production
- expediting overdue orders and working with suppliers where required
- the role will be based from our Cell Manufacturing site in Stevenage but with the opportunity for hybrid working. The successful individual will be needed to be based on site at least 2 or 3 days a week
- managing material forecasts and communicating with suppliers to assure stock availability for future demand
- partners with Strategic Sourcing and Quality to facilitate sourcing of new materials that may be required

- ensure supplier statements are reconciled and old balances investigated
- review debit balances on a monthly basis and report to the controller any aged items
- review credit balances on a monthly basis and report to the controller any aged items
- ensure Direct Debit account invoices are processed in a timely manner, remediating delays with the business
- process and reconcile lease agreement payments from proforma to final invoice
- ensure the team keep the inbox up to date and queries are resolved in a timely manner

- to provide a first point of contact for all issues and requests
- to implement new systems as required, ensuring all compliance and technical issues are addressed
- implement and manage procedures to ensure all systems are operated controlled and managed in accordance with the latest regulations
- designing control/SCADA systems including databases and database interfaces, data analytics & reporting
- understanding project requirements in order to develop/configure industrial control packages accordingly for use in manufacturing space
