Responsibility

  • responsible for writing and maintaining service manuals for their manufactured machines
  • assisting the creation of technical content for use within Parts Manuals and online Parts Manual system
  • assist with the creation of workshop build manuals as and when required
  • update and rewrite existing documentation as and when required
  • assist with the production of technical manuals to ensure availability with machine deliveries – target 100% availability
  • assist with the translation, screen capture and desktop publishing work required to meet documentation deadlines – target 100% availability
  • responsible for writing technical user documentation in accordance with the machinery directive. Produce updates to documents in support of engineering development
  • seek new systems, initiatives, and practices to continually improve the performance levels of the department and the content of the documentation

Requirements

  • mechanical or electrical engineering: 5 years
