Responsibility
- design LV electrical systems – specifically circuit design, wiring/fusing and electrical packaging
- design LV electrical systems - specifically circuit design, wiring/fusing and electrical packaging
- responsible for wiring harness design, integration, and verification
- understand/interpret 2D harness drawings, multiple customers
- produce BOMs / Cutsheets to manufacture prototype harnesses
- oversee the manufacture of prototype harnesses, chasing down any tooling / component / design issues
- feedback to the customer ref design issues
- performs design activities for Electrical Schematics and Wiring Harness and associated electrical and electronic components for vehicle EDS technical deliverables of the project, in accordance with the client process and requirements
Requirements
- great interpersonal skills to communicate and engage with customers and project stakeholders
- A collaborative work ethic
- familiarity with JLR systems and specifications
