Responsibility
- proactively support and embed a generative safety culture
- inspection, Sampling and Acceptance of waste loads into Greenbank Crescent
- ensure the site is compliant with permits, operating licenses, and the IMS at all times
- bulking up and consolidating incoming loads ensuring complete records of traceability are kept onsite working to SGN 5.06
- inspection, Sampling and Acceptance of waste loads into Blackdog and Pocra
- operation and routine maintenance of plant equipment and site vehicles including forklift trucks
- completion of waste transfer paperwork for outgoing and incoming waste
- safe and efficient loading and unloading of HGV’s on site as required including bulk tankers for loading and discharge
Requirements
- degree/HNC/HND in Chemistry or related subject- Beneficial
- degree/HNC/HND in Chemistry or related subject
- at least two years’ experience in waste or environmental management industry - Beneficial
- you must be a self-motivated, conscientious individual with an analytical mind and methodical approach to work in a sales-focused team
- general working knowledge of hazardous waste assessment to comply with IPPC and WM3 regulations – Beneficial
- radiation Protection Supervisor - Beneficial
