Responsibility
- conduct utilization management activities to ensure appropriate and cost-effective use of healthcare resources
- collaborate with Social workers, Local authority , patients, and their relatives to coordinate and manage care plans
- review medical records and assess the medical necessity of treatments and procedures
- utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and eClinicalWorks to document and track patient information
- monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement in care delivery
- provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and healthcare resources
Requirements
- previous experience in a managed care or a similar setting is preferred
- knowledge of utilization management principles and practices
- familiarity with electronic health record systems, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
- strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- management: 1 year
