Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years on the job experience ( essential
  • NVQ Level 2/3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning ( essential - Experience working in a marine environment would be an advantage
  • good IT skills
  • additional overtime as required
  • full clean UK driving licence ( essential - Physical fitness is a necessary requirement for the position ( essential - Prior use of JobLogic software would be an advantage, although training will be given
  • refrigeration and/or Air Conditioning: 3 years
  • HOURS: 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-3.30pm Friday

Responsibility

  • install, service and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment
  • diagnose faults and repair or make recommendations for required works
  • carry out pre and post use checks on equipment as required
  • JOB TITLE : Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer
  • liaise directly with on-site contacts to assess customer requirements and carry out tasks accordingly
  • liaise with customers to investigate reported faults and provide engineering expertise to resolve issues and breakdowns
  • carry out safe pressure testing of equipment
  • strip down mechanical compressor units
