Responsibility

  • perform bookkeeping and accounting duties with accuracy and compliance for clients
  • manage financial records, including accounts payable and receivable and bank reconciliations
  • prepare financial statements for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
  • generate management accounts and complete tax returns
  • utilise accounting software such as Sage or Zero Accounting
  • maintain effective communication with clients and colleagues
  • contribute to the growth of the practice with your commercial awareness

Requirements

  • AAT qualified or qualified by experience from a small or medium-sized accountancy practice
  • proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • proficiency in management accounting and VAT returns
  • familiarity with accounting software, including Sage or Xero Accounting
  • strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
