Hello! The job is for a Vehicle Service, Maintenance, and Repair Technician/Mechanic, preferably with experience working in a Heavy Goods or Construction Plant role. They are looking for someone who is Level 2 trained in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or a time-served technician. Knowledge of working on Volvo and Renault vehicles is preferred. The responsibilities include servicing, maintaining, and repairing the fleet of Screed Pumps and Volumetric HGV Vehicles, as well as mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles. The salary is £16.50 per hour with overtime available at time and a half. The question is: Is there a probationary period for this position, and if so, how long does it last?
