Responsibility

  • aston Reach is a consulting company that works with clients to facilitate and assure change
  • this contract role will be the lead project manager on a digital transformation project
  • it’s a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend
  • the ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership skills and a keen focus on delivery
  • the role can be remote, the project team are dispersed throughout the UK
  • regular visits to the client’s office in the Midlands are required and travel expenses are recoverable
  • the day rate on offer is £500 to £550 depending on experience, operating outside of IR35
  • with the build c 80% complete, the emphasis shifts to the implementation phase, and therefore the ideal candidate should have experience in Go Live governance, Implementation planning, Warranty/early life support, handover into BAU, along with strong leadership, project governance and resource management

Requirements

  • excellent communication skills with experience of engaging across all levels of the business, both Business and IT sides
  • great collaboration skills
  • strong leadership skills, taking ownership of the project and a tenacity to drive it to successful delivery
  • experience with operating within Waterfall, Iterative and Scrum methodologies
  • project Management: 3 years
