- full-time | Part-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- overseeing medication – with appropriate training first and all based on the individuals personal care plan
- household chores – help with tasks and chores around the home, such as vacuuming or preparing meals
- companionship – provide company for our individuals, treating them with dignity, patience and compassion at all times
- to have individual responsibility in accordance with the practices, procedures and policies of AStar Homecare Ltd, and for the personal needs of Individuals
- to enable Individuals to live as independently, comfortably and securely as possible and to promote the opportunity for individuals to live in the community for as long as possible, by providing care and support to our individuals and their families
- ensure you have read and understood all COVID 19 related documents including risk assessments, guidance and posters, to stay safe and PPE guidance
- personal care – help with getting in and out bed, washing, bathing, dressing and, when necessary, help going to the toilet
- running errands – some of our individuals require support getting out and about, so you’ll assist with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
