Requirements
- valid IPAF licence is essential
- previous experience as a Painter or Decorator
- previous experience operating powered access equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training may be provided for the right candidate
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to powered access operations
- knowledge of various painting techniques and materials
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- familiarity with mechanical equipment used in painting
Responsibility
- prepare surfaces by cleaning and smoothing them using appropriate tools
- apply paint or other finishes to different surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and furniture
- mix and match colours to achieve desired shades
- protect surrounding areas from paint splatter during the painting process
- inspect and touch up painted surfaces as needed
- follow site-specific safety procedures and guidelines, reporting any hazards or incidents immediately
- provide support in training new operators on safe operating practices when required
