Responsibility
- ensure the business is legally and ethically compliant with CQC policies and procedures
- keep full and accurate records in accordance with legal requirements
- helping to grow our business by meeting prospective new residents & their families
- undertaking and monitoring of all appropriate assessments relating to new residents
- being involved and/or delivering induction training to new Care Professionals
- understand and work within regulator legislation, standards and regulations ultimately being responsible for the legal and ethical running of the day-to-day business
- organise team meetings
- carry out staff reviews and appraisals within the required time frames. Planning and implementing supervisions and appraisals in accordance with guidelines
Requirements
- profound interest in Healthcare and awareness of key business principles
- own a respectful, personable, warm and approachable manner with leadership experience of service provision in the care industry
- able to effectively supervise, delegate and empower your team
- successfully complete the registration process with the Care Quality Commission within three months of appointment
- passionate to provide person-centred support within a social care environment
- management qualification at level 4 or above desirable
- an in depth understanding of CQC assessment criteria for Outstanding scores
- experience in recruitment of Caregivers
