Responsibility
- accurately document all items collected from client locations, ensuring a complete inventory of IT assets using company-provided tools
- drive company category B vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance with road regulations
- work in compliance with ALS standards, safeguarding data privacy and ensuring equipment with sensitive information is treated securely
- conduct routine checks on vehicles and report any issues to ensure they remain in excellent working condition
- maintain accurate records of collections, including proof of delivery, inventory logs, and paperwork related to environmental compliance and data security
- safely and efficiently collect IT assets from client sites across various locations within the UK, ensuring compliance with company procedures and client specifications
- other general warehouse duties when required
- act as the primary point of contact at collection sites, ensuring excellent customer service, professionalism, and clear communication regarding the collection processes
Requirements
- must hold a clean, valid driver’s license
- prior experience in a driving role is preferred; experience in ITAD, logistics, or e-waste collection is an advantage
- ability to lift and handle heavy equipment regularly when loading and unloading vehicles
- flexibility to travel locally or regionally for collections, with occasional long-distance trips
