Responsibility
- to join an existing Electronics Designer in a busy R&D department within a small, expanding electronics and electro-mechanical engineering house
- the company provides both electronics design, software and electronics assembly within a single facility in the Midlands
Requirements
- digital and analogue circuit design, PCB layouts and embedded firmware skills
- expertise in the use of Microchip Pic or comparable integrated circuits e.g. Atmel
- proven track record in the design of Internet of things devices
- working knowledge of EMC/ESD compatible designs – able to demonstrate successful designs achieved
- ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritise
- self-motivated and proactive; able to work to agreed milestones and lead-times
- electrical Engineering: 3 years
- good communications skills; able to interface with key customers
