Responsibility

  • to look after and clean housekeeping equipment and machinery and ensure the economical and correct use of cleaning materials
  • to assist with residents' needs in organising dry cleaning service
  • to attend staff meetings and training where appropriate
  • duty to whistle blow if witness bad practice or harm to a resident within the home

  • to complete delegated duties as per work schedules and work with the ancillary staff to ensure the daily routine is carried out efficiently
  • to ensure that residents' rooms and public areas are in perfect order, reporting any faults, e.g. defective light bulbs, worn carpets, broken fittings
