Responsibility
- an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Bristol Sport Group as Finance Manager
- prepare budgets and forecasts, ensuring that accurate and consistent assumptions are applied across the Group
- produce monthly management accounts
- the role will report into the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for maintaining the finances and accounting for transactions in the Group's shared services division, Bristol Sport
- ashton Gate Stadium is a unique sports and entertainment business with the core aim of providing integral support services to ensure the sustainability of Stephen Lansdown's sporting group of companies which includes Bristol Sport, Bristol City, Bristol Bears, Bristol Flyers Basketball and each of their respective community charities
- hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to discuss performance and any other operational finance issues including invoicing, payments and intercompany settlements
- the successful candidate will manage one direct report and will support the Central Finance team which includes Bristol City Football Club, Bristol Bears Rugby Club, Bristol Flyers, Bristol Sport and Ashton Gate to enhance, streamline and centralise finance processes
- manage the external audit for Bristol Sport Limited and act as key point of contact for auditors and key stakeholders
