Responsibility

  • the post available is for a Domestic Assistant working 24-36 hrs a week including every other weekend
  • the Housekeeping staff are an integral part of the care team
  • as part of house keeping staff you will be allocated rooms to clean including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment
  • you will be expected to clean sanitary equipment, make and change beds, tidy rooms and empty commodes
  • you will be expected to ensure the clean and hygienic maintenance of the home at all times
  • you will need to be aware of the health & safety Legislation and of the COSHH statement and participate in training
  • enhanced DBS. This will be sourced by the home
