Responsibility
oversee and monitor the Ashbury Absence Management process across the business
ensure a consistent application of the Ashbury policies and procedures, complying with employment law and best practices
provide 1st line support to the Head of HR in managing poor performance and offering solutions
maintain and update document templates, including employment contracts, variation letters and other relevant correspondence. Ensure accessibility to the team and alignment with contractual and statutory requirements
maintain and update the HR database ensuring accurate date management
recruitment - supporting on building a talent pipeline, building a LinkedIn profile, and actively managing the recruitment
jointly collaborate closely with our payroll provider and the HR team to maintain accurate payroll processing and promptly address any identified issues. Issue precise payroll instructions to meet deadlines
support in the identification and professional development needs of employees, developing and creating training plans to support learning and development
Requirements
excellent understanding of core Microsoft applications
previous experience in an Admin support role
to project an attitude of professionalism, commitment and positivity at all times
highly organised and flexible
ability to multi-task and meet changing deadlines
good interpersonal skills both written and oral
be able to work with senior management and adhere to confidentiality at all times
can work effectively independently as well as part of a team
