ASC HEALTHCARE is looking for employees for positions:

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • you will be required to manage and prioritise your own workload, working with clients either one-to-one or in groups
  • you will monitor clients' progress, record and update information and have regular meetings with the therapist to discuss individual cases
  • you will be responsible for keeping a stock of equipment and updating your line manager when new items are required
  • you will be responsible for clerical and administrative duties, including using computers to access and maintain confidential records
  • together with the therapist, you will make changes to the therapy program to suit the client's individual needs, taking into account their progress so far
  • you will be required to meet the needs of the patient accessing the therapy sessions. It will be down to you to prepare the room before a therapy session and prepare any equipment that will be used
  • you will need to be sensitive to patients' emotional states and discuss any issues with the therapist or another healthcare professional in line with ASC’s Confidentiality Policy
  • you will need to be aware of various communication aids - which include pictures and symbols as well as electronic devices. You will be expected to develop and prepare therapy materials such as picture books, vocabulary books, games and sound clips
