Responsibility

  • when the main company directors are away this role will resume command of the firm
  • the Award winning Arun Waste Management company has grown tremendously over the last 4 years and due to this growth need a permanent Operations Manager/Director
  • this role is not new but has been managed by one of the directors to the point its too busy and taking the day to complete.This is a senior role within the company
  • you will be liaising with customer services to alleviate and support all the customer requests for the skip hire that comes in daily . In this industry you have to be all places for all people all of the time
  • you need to have a very good grasp of the geographic locations we work in from Chichester, Selsey right through to Shoreham and up to Pulborough area as this is the area we work in. You can be trained
  • you will need to able to deal with large amounts of stress both from the environment around him and external customers
  • you have a fully equipped tracking system to help you manage the drivers to align with our customers needs and systems in place to manage the large amount of work out there
  • you need to be to be able to manage a very hectic and busy despatch office consistently Monday to Friday 6 am to 5 pm. At some point drivers need to work a saturday morning you will be required to manage them, wether remotely or on site
