Responsibility
- assess, manage and mitigate risks within the supply chain and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
- maintaining the approved supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation, and maintaining awareness of applicable external legislation
- working with the Quality department to maintain a 12 month audit plan for all key suppliers
- conduct research to source the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules and quality ensuring suppliers are aware of AOL business objectives
- tracking and reporting key performance indicators to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness, analyse data and produce reports and statistics on spending and saving
- sourcing new suppliers and the continual development of the existing supply chain and reporting to the Senior Management Team on a quarterly basis
- coordinating with Materials and Inventory Controller to determine and manage business inventory needs and establishing call off order quantities for consumable items
