Responsibility

  • installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely, and via phone
  • investigating, diagnosing, and solving computer software and hardware faults
  • troubleshooting network and system issues
  • repairing equipment and replacing parts, checking computer equipment for electrical safety
  • respond within agreed time limits to call-outs
  • maintaining records of software licenses
  • creating documentation for technical support purposes

Requirements

  • previous experience in computer troubleshooting would be an advantage
