Responsibility
- supporting with the movement of palletised stock around the warehouse, on and off racking and relocation to different areas of warehouse
- loading and unloading trailers
- our Warehouse Operatives are a key part of our operational team here at Armstrong Logistics
- working as part of the team to ensure that the warehouse is clean, tidy, well maintained, and presentable always
- ensuring that Health and Safety rules are always followed and challenging bad practice if observed by notifying the relevant Section Manager
- shifts pattern will be 4 on 4 off, on either days or nights
- picking palletised freight from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders ready for outbound distribution
- the successful Warehouse operative will work well as part of a team in a high paced warehouse environment, and is flexible, enthusiastic, and able to maintain high levels of performance within a physically demanding role
Requirements
- PPT experience preferred, but not essential
- ability to work to high levels of accuracy with meticulous attention to detail
- good time keeping
- ability to work well as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- driven to succeed
- ability to work to meet individual and team KPIs
- warehouse experience: 1 year
