internal sales representative

Working hours

  • full-time

Responsibility

  • proactively seeking out new business opportunities and building strong relationships with potential and existing customers to promote sales
  • providing accurate and timely quotations to customers, and following up to ensure a timely response and closing deals
  • utilising our Sage 200 system to process orders and maintain accurate customer information
  • developing and maintaining an understanding of our products, as well as industry trends and competitor activity
  • participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the achievement of team and company targets

Requirements

  • proven experience in a sales role, with a track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
  • experience working with a CRM system would be useful
  • A history within manufacturing or electrical wholesaling would be an advantage
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • excellent organisational and time-management skills, with keen attention to detail
  • ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work collaboratively with a team
