Requirements
- must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment
- must be punctual
- must be very customer focused and be able to converse with customers over the phone as well as face to face
- experience using the TruckCom system is preferred but not essential
- transport planning: 3 years
- handling Full load containers: 2 years
Responsibility
- work with the Operations Manager to ensure that all vehicles are in compliance with company standards
- prepare daily route reports for the Operations Manager
- provide updates to the Operations Manager regarding the status of vehicles, equipment, supplies, and traffic issues
- perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or management
- coordinate and monitor all vehicle movements, including but not limited to: loading, unloading, vehicle movement, and scheduling of drivers
