Responsibility

  • § To be flexible about working hours, understanding that this is a 24 hour service
  • § To be approachable and supportive to all
  • § To maintain confidentiality at all times
  • § Assist the development of the philosophy, goals and objectives of the home
  • § To carry out any reasonable duties as requested by the Senior Care Team and Deputy and Registered Manager
  • § To attend to all domestic and cleaning related functions for the residents
  • § To provide laundry services for residents
  • § Develop effective working relationships with colleagues, external professionals, families and visitors

Requirements

  • housekeeping/Domestic experience
  • understanding of supporting people who live with Dementia
  • understanding of COSHH regulations
  • understanding of CQC regulations and requirements
  • understanding of recording and documenting
  • able to work independently and as a team
  • domestic: 1 year
  • cleaning: 1 year
