As the sole IT Support Technician at your location, you will be responsible for a diverse range of technical tasks to support our students and colleagues. Primary responsibilities include: Play a pivotal role in offering exemplary localised and remote support to our expanding portfolio of UK-based study centres and offices. Assume ownership of both first and second line issues, along with service requests for staff and students on all technical matters Address on-site computer and AV hardware and software issues, taking full charge of incoming support requests, both in-person and remotely Provide user training, promote best practices within the company, and ensure policy compliance among staff and students across all University Study Centres and offices About you: We welcome applications from candidates who can showcase the following skills and experiences: Vocational qualifications (NVQ 2-3, City & Guild) or equivalent, paired with some prior experience in a relevant role, OR substantial work experience in a relevant field/life context Proficiency in using and supporting Microsoft operating systems and applications Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively to individuals at all levels within a business environment Demonstrated familiarity with using an ITSM ticketing system.
