Responsibility
- lead the sales team to ensure that our business plans are delivered
- develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- represent the company at international exhibitions, events and on-site demonstrations
- maximise the performance of our direct sales team through coaching and personal development
- work with distributors in key territories to deliver strong sales growth
- work closely with the New Product Development team to ensure we continue to develop innovative products which can help our customers win
Requirements
- proven track record of leading a sales team
- graduate in an engineering or scientific subject preferred
- proven track record of developing new business and distribution partnerships in international markets
- 5 years experience in technical sales
- experience of working in technical sales
- A current passport with no restrictions and the ability and aptitude for regular foreign travel
- comfortable communicating with key customers at many different levels from senior managers to engineering influencers
