Responsibility

  • you must be able to work weekends and start early on a Saturday morning
  • there is lots of potential within this role and to take on responsibility.es etc
  • needs to have bread experience as well as we do some wholesale and bread for the weekend
  • we also do doughnuts, sweet pastries, tarts etc for the weekend
  • there is lots of scope and flexibility within the job but you must have good knowledge of yeasted loaves
  • also must be competent in baking traybakes and cakes and icing them
  • we are a small, friendly team and it's important we all get on and respect each other
  • needs to have experience of producing handmade/shaped loaves and a good understanding of yeasted loaves, cold proves etc

Requirements

  • proven experience as a baker in a restaurant or bakery setting
  • knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
  • ability to follow recipes accurately
  • strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
  • flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
