Responsibility

  • collaborate with a diverse team of experts to develop scientific products
  • design packaging and electro-mechanical integration at both component and system levels, aligning with desired product performance and specifications
  • convert product and subsystem specifications into packaging, interface, and integration requirements
  • formulate packaging and structural designs
  • make use of internal and external manufacturing resources to prototype, test, and validate systems, influencing design choices
  • generate CAD models and conduct FEA analysis & CFD simulations
  • role: Packaging and Integration Manufacturing Engineer - Oxfordshire

Requirements

  • completion of a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • hardware product development, initiation of new products, and management of Product Life Cycle stages
  • experience in integrating precision components into working devices and products
  • experience supporting FMEAs and following best practice product development processes
  • CAD software experience
  • familiarity with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS, COMSOL
