Responsibility
- collaborate with a diverse team of experts to develop scientific products
- design packaging and electro-mechanical integration at both component and system levels, aligning with desired product performance and specifications
- convert product and subsystem specifications into packaging, interface, and integration requirements
- formulate packaging and structural designs
- make use of internal and external manufacturing resources to prototype, test, and validate systems, influencing design choices
- generate CAD models and conduct FEA analysis & CFD simulations
- role: Packaging and Integration Manufacturing Engineer - Oxfordshire
Requirements
- completion of a Master's degree in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- hardware product development, initiation of new products, and management of Product Life Cycle stages
- experience in integrating precision components into working devices and products
- experience supporting FMEAs and following best practice product development processes
- CAD software experience
- familiarity with simulation and analysis tools like ANSYS, COMSOL
