Requirements
- qualification in Diploma Level 5 in Residential Childcare, working towards this qualification or prepared to be enrolled on this course immediately
- minimum 2 years experience in a similar environment - must include working with children
- experience in a Management or Assistant Management role with proven ability to lead staff teams
- comprehensive knowledge of Child Protection & Safeguarding
- solid experience of the Ofsted process
- resilient and motivated but with a calm, approachable manner, adaptable and non-judgemental
- knowledge of legislative requirements and their impact
- excellent communication skills, written and verbal along with strong organisational skills
Responsibility
- assist in budget preparation and manage and control expenditure to ensure financial parameters are maintained
