the role of the Senior Business Architect will be to interpret and contextualise the Bank’s strategic objectives for the operational needs of the business
they will assess the Bank’s Operating Model , and proposed changes to that Operating Model, against a defined Business Architectural Framework and Principles
and in doing so, identify misalignment, gaps and transformation opportunities to deliver a Target Operating Model that will support the achievement of the Bank’s strategic objectives
the Senior Business Architect will define and champion the Business Architectural Framework & Principles that will support management decision making in the assessment, prioritisation, and agreement of changes to the Bank’s Operating Model
the Senior Business Architect will own and develop specific artifacts to help articulate the journey from current state to target state Operating Model in a set of transition states over a 2–3 year time horizon
to place the interests of customers at the centre of all activities, act in a way that is consistent with achieving good outcomes for consumers and to comply with the FCA and PRA's Conduct Rules
