- full-time
Responsibility
- efficient processing of accounting transactions
- preparation of quarterly VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations
- process data on and carry out bank, client account reconciliations
- credit Control - Ensure customers make payment within the agreed payment terms
- to devise an annual compliance monitoring plan to identify, document and assess compliance risks associated with the firm’s activities
- maintain up-to-date knowledge in relevant legal compliance regulations and management
- KYC/AML checks
- liaison with senior management on all aspects of the business as required
Requirements
- degree in Accounting & Finance and Risk Management is preferable
- experience in financial data processing, managing operational risk and compliance, bank reconciliations
- sound competency in the use of QuickBooks accounting software
- good knowledge of VAT and experience of preparing and submitting VAT returns
- strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently to ensure that deadlines are met
- attention to detail
