Responsibility

  • compile monthly and annual financial information
  • prepare financial reports for the CEO and board of directors
  • prepare journal entries
  • calculate tax liabilities and remittances
  • monitor financial accounts
  • prevent and detect fraudulent activities
  • creditors Ledger including Input of supplier Invoices and Payments
  • debtors Ledger

Requirements

  • previous experience as a bookkeeper or in a role with similar requirements is an advantage
  • enjoy working independently
  • experience and enjoyment of working as a team member is essential
  • friendly, approachable, and helpful
  • excellent communication skills essential including experience with professional phone and email communication
  • organised and efficient
  • experience with the end of day/week bookkeeping, billing, and reconciliation
  • reliable
