Responsibility

  • preparing /reviewing statutory accounts for a range of limited companies
  • preparing /reviewing of VAT returns
  • assisting clients with day to day queries
  • supervising junior members of the accounts team and delegating work

Requirements

  • be ACCA or ACA qualified
  • have a minimum of 3 years experience in a UK accountancy firm
  • strong knowledge of limited company accounts preparation, Financial Reporting Standards , statutory disclosure requirement
  • strong knowledge of various taxes
  • strong knowledge of accounting software packages covering preparation of VAT returns and limited company accounts
  • good communication, verbally and written
  • ability to successfully manage priorities, work to strict deadlines, and attention to detail
  • proactive, cheerful, professional approach and ability to work within a team
