Responsibility

  • approCare is a leading Care Provider of adult home care covering Sheerness & Sittingbourne. Founded in 2013
  • approCare is seeking a Care Co-ordinator to join our busy fast paced office team based in Bluetown, Sheerness. Coordination experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • to maintain and update Client and Community Carer databases with relevant information
  • covering shifts when appropriate and to take part in the on call rota
  • to upload shifts/new referrals to People Planner rostering system and process/manage all Community Carer holidays request forms
  • reportable to: Registered Manager

Requirements

  • all candidates should have a minimum of 6 months care experience ideally as a Care Co-ordinator, Senior Carer or similar
  • all candidates must already have certification of OR be willing to undertake NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • candidates MUST be a driver with their own vehicle
  • candidates MUST be willing and able to assist in covering care calls in cases of urgent need
  • ability to cope with a busy and demanding role, involving constant telephone contact with Community Care workers and Clients to arrange shifts and plan rotas
