Responsibility
- 1st line sales support to all AST Group companies
- assisting AST Group companies with information on pricing and stock availability
- ensuring outstanding inventory is supplied in a timely manner
- coordinating combined shipments out to AST Group companies to keep their costs to a minimum
- where appropriate coordinate direct deliveries to reduce total costs
- coordinating all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, to maximise efficiency and reduce total costs
- support for longer term project-based tasks
- assisting with stock replenishment and inventory analysis
Requirements
- experience in international shipping/logistics
- experience in working with international customers
- understanding of dangerous goods legislation and export control regulations preferred
- high level of attention to detail and accuracy, taking immediate action to correct any errors
- analytical thinker with a common-sense approach
- organised and able to multi-task effectively
- must be reliable, enthusiastic, and conscientious
- ability to work with exchange rates and large amounts of data
