- A rare vacancy for a Deputy Manager in a 16 bed residential home for adults with mental illness
- you will need to have strong leadership skills, be reliable and flexible
- basic Welsh language skills if not fluent in Welsh language would be beneficial as would being able to drive
- an enhanced DBS is a requirement for this role and hours would be 36-42 per week and discussed further at interview
- duties will include assessing individuals for placement, writing care plans and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, auditing within the home, medication ordering and administration, psychiatric reviews, supervision, mentoring and appraisal of staff
- A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is essential as well as a committment to undertake the Level 4 if not already gained and preferable experience or insight into CIW inspections and the requirements
