Responsibility

  • assisting skilled tradespeople on-site
  • loading and unloading materials and equipment
  • preparing construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
  • operating and maintaining construction machinery and tools
  • following health and safety regulations
  • performing general labour tasks as directed by the site supervisor

Requirements

  • proven experience as a labourer in construction or a similar field
  • ability to handle physical work and lift heavy objects
  • familiarity with construction equipment and machinery
  • basic knowledge of health and safety practices
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • construction Skills Certification Scheme Card
  • high school diploma or equivalent is preferred OR Level 1 or Level 2 Certificate in Construction operations
  • construction: 1 year
