Responsibility

  • set and Operate Hurco CNC milling machines
  • inspect components as they come off the machine
  • liaise with production engineering with regard to offline programming
  • manage workflow to optimize spindle time
  • prep tooling and materials
  • finish parts such as, tapping, deburring, packing etc
  • maintain and basic service machines when required
  • maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

  • setting and operating CNC machine experience
  • machinery experience
  • hurco Winmax control
  • ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • basic inspection and GD&T skills
  • competent in component finishing
  • comfortable working to deadlines
  • follow all H&S regulations
