Responsibility
- SOS Surf Shop is looking for a Shop Manager to join our team. Salary - Negotiable depending on experience
- manage the overall operations of the store including scheduling, scheduling, training, staffing, and budgeting
- we offer a permanent full time position working a variety of shifts

- ensure that the store is clean and organised at all times

- assist customers in selecting products and answer their questions about items
- the Shop Manager will be responsible for the overall business operations of the store and its employees
- the ideal candidate will have a background in retail management, experience in customer service, and sales
- complete other duties as assigned by management to ensure the overall success of the business
- maintain positive relationships with customers by greeting them upon arrival, answering their questions, and selecting products that meet or exceed customer expectations
- ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and properly each day so that the store can prepare each day for the coming days business
- participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss the business of the store as well as any areas that need attention or improvement
Requirements
- previous experience in retail management or other related fields
- ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to positively communicate with customers by phone, email, or in person
